Kelson Maire, son of Rothana Maire, also a Force user, born at the same time and day as Jeren and having the exact same abilities, was brought to the Alliance by his grandparents, because they were afraid of what the Empire might do to the boy. The boy's mother, Rothana Maire, LT, ISF, was Gija Metieh's aide when her husband was killed and she was left with Kelson. She left the boy with his grandparents when she was sent off on an intel mission and that's when they 'vanished' into the Alliance. Cam Lightdancer is asked to foster the child as his non-Force using grandparents can't handle that. Kelson is transported to the Ofdias site under sedation to keep him from inadvertently revealing the location by any Sith tracking on his Force crying.
Kerelsen Drew has meeting with Barezz and is to be sent to be "reconditioned" to serve the Empire instead of going her own way. Rather than redirect an entire SD to deliver her there, a security escort is provided to take her to the reconditioning facility, on board her own ship, the FOTP. Enroute, the Dart Class Courier vessel is hijacked by a commando team, and the security escort is killed off. Kerelsen is lightly wounded in the evolution but recovers in time to assist the commando team in an attempt to rescue Ilona Carollan from an Imperial prison. The head of the team, whom Drew only knows as Duncan, unbeknownst to her is actually an operative for a Sith Lord who has assigned this mission for his own undisclosed reasons. The rescue goes off with minimal trouble and Ilona is taken to Jinx for healing and Kerelsen and her ship are directed to a place to meet up with Joshua Darke.
Kerelsen Drew becomes a reporter for the IGNN.
Ofdias construction goes as scheduled and Cam and her children settle in for the duration. Rothana Maire becomes an exceptionally ruthless intel operative, frightening even some of her own staff members and eliciting a reprimand from her boss, CAPT Metieh. She reluctantly modifies her actions but is obsessed with the idea of getting her son back.
The CRIMSON WIND, a special Imperial assault vessel suddenly appears in the system and begins to attack Ofdias. The fighters are destroyed, except for one, which was limping back into base before the attack due to a malfunctioning engine. The base's defensive shield falls and the laser batteries are useless due to missing parts. The Imperials take over the base, and imprison the survivors (only about a third of the 200 person construction crew make it through the initial assault). They are questioned and left to be executed.
The remaining X-Wing gets back to the base's hangar and is grabbed by the CW's tractor beam. The pilot, Daffydd, is questioned by none other than Darth Vader, who uses his lightsaber as an incentive to answer questions. Daffydd is thrown in with Cam and the other survivors to await execution, and Cam, attempting to soothe the agonized youth, suddenly accesses a healing ability. Where before, her use of the Force was awkward, hard to access, the level of pain Daffydd is suffering triggers a flow of Force energy that heals him. Cam is in agony herself during the process, unable to control it or close off the pain as the power works. Daffydd is healed and Cam is half-unconscious from the aftermath of the miracle, when Vader comes into the holding room, drawn by Cam's surge of Force use. He takes her to the CW, and prepares to take her back to the Emperor.
Meanwhile, the assault team finishes draining what was left of the base's computer matrices (which were self-destructed by one of the rebels when it was apparent how bad the attack was) and the interrogator returns from questioning the prisoners. The interrogator happens to be Rothana Maire, Kelson's mother, and she nearly kills Cam in her rage that the boys were evacuated even as the CW was detected coming into the system. Vader intervenes and Cam's new skill heals her own injuries. Upon arrival on Byss, she discovers that she has no control over the healing ability. If she comes in skin to skin contact with anyone, and they have injury or illness, it kicks in, leaving her debilitated as her own energies are depleted, and she suffers the pain of the patient until the healing is complete. Once started, she is locked into the mode until the skin contact is broken or the healing is completed.
Luke meets with the Emperor under truce, which was broken by the Emperor.
Sam defects to the Rebels.
Gina Kylin arrives at the Emperor's Court as Emperor's Hand, bearing the name Lady Aurelia Tiandriis and the demeanour of a brainless social butterfly. Luckily for us all, she soon turns into a redhead. Ginna is placed into the red guards.
Port Lansing Gina Kylin meets and works closely with Imperial Mirit ArLinceat. Later that week Anrit defects to the Alliance. Darana swears revenge.
Darana standing guard for Emperor, when Kylie Renoren is brought before the Emperor and Interrogated. Kylie's mind breaks and she reverts into the state of a four year old.
Kylie Renorin thrown out of the Imperial Base and brought back to rebel base with the mind of a child. A circle of Jedi (Morgan, Sam and 3 others) bring her mind partially back to adulthood.
A heavy G worlder diplomat is shot by Imperial Forces and aligns his worlds with the rebellion.
On Byss, Palpatine decides to keep Cam under close control, since her skill would be useful when it's time to changeover to a new clone body. Then he gets a whim, when he learns from her mind that she has borne a Force-using child. She's drugged and while unconscious, a half-dozen fertile eggs are removed from her. They are fertilized with genetically cloned sperm, created from a Sith's chromosomal material. ONLY PALPATINE KNOWS ABOUT THIS. TO THIS DAY, NO ONE ELSE KNOWS WHO THE FATHER IS! Four of the six appear viable, two of the four do not develop. The remaining two embed. Palpatine decides to send her to Taras and Cassandra's world, Zoron, for close custody until the babies are born, with Cassandra and Taras to start training Cam in the Dark Side during the nine months.
Wynn Barezz blows up the planet Zoric on live holonet broadcasts. Gov. Casselbury denies all knowledge of this when attacked by Azarra. A Jedi mob comes close to murdering Wynn. Prism Nighthawk captured and rescued in a large shootout. Lauren Jaidak captured Morgan Nightshade, who is then tortured by Metieh.
Aretta Farris captured by Lord Vordis in a Light Saber duel outside of Port Lansing's Cantina.
Metieh's angels formed.
Imperials gain control over Port Lansing Station.
Raven Palpatine decanted, a clone body with mind constructed by the Emperor. She begins Sith training under Palpatine.
Cam is debriefed by Security with oversight of Councilor Borath who (for his own personal motives and revenge for the loss of the kickbacks he was getting from the suppliers of the Ofdias Base project) convinces them that Cam is no longer trustworthy and that she should be removed from the HQ and exiled to New Alderaan or other Sanctuary world, where she can do no harm to the Alliance High Command. He has her on a ship headed out before the Lansing people--particularly the Jedi--return.
Starting in June and moving into July:
The ship has a serious maneuvering drive malfunction and crashes. Cam's healing ability saves her life and that of the pilot. The emergency beacon attracts the attention of a passing Imperial Star Destroyer and the lieutenant in charge of the investigative team that shuttles down to check out the beacon recognizes her from a recently issued "wanted" notice. The pilot tries to break away from the stormtroopers and is stunned but the overflow of the stun blast catches Cam and she's unconscious when she (and the pilot) are taken to the ship. On board, she meets Captain Sartello, a relatively personable Commanding Officer who has a maimed voice from a coolant exposure accident. He mockingly bows over her hand when apprising her of her status as a special prisoner wanted by the Emperor (alive only) and when the hands touch, her Healing takes care of his damaged lungs and vocal cords. She passes out from it again and Sartello orders the ship's doctor to take care of her. THIS is when Cam finds out she is pregnant.
Sartello's orders are to leave his assigned patrol and deliver her to Byss. They arrive at Byss and Cam is brought before Palpatine again. She meets Anelis for the first time. Palpatine punishes her for her last escape and Cam is locked into a suite until Taras and Cassandra take her to Zoron for the latter part of the pregnancy and the birth.
Luke Skywalker visits with Aretta Farris on Astral plane. He tells her that he had forseen that she was dark, and so was not going to come rescue her.
Aretta swears loyalty to the Emperor and begins to truly train as a Sith.
On the last day of the year, Cam is delivered of a son, Kieren, and daughter, Kerisha. She is allowed one month to recover from the birth and after that, she is transported back to Byss, while Cassandra retains care of the children.
