The Ring of Steel meets three times a week on the campus of the University of Michigan in the Student Theatre Arts Complex (STAC). Our rehearsals are Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10pm, and Sunday mornings from 10am-1pm. Beginners are welcome at our monthly Open Houses (please check the Club Calendar or contact us directly for the current schedule) or by appointment. Basic drills are taught and practiced during the first hour of any meeting and then choreography and advanced skills are developed during the remainder. As a rule, no formal classes start or end at a given time though topics are pursued on a "unit" basis and beginners are urged to start with the club at the beginning of a topic unit. |

Members of the Initiate and Apprentice ranks are required to have the balance of their dues paid up in full by the end of any given month. Members of higher ranks may fall a little behind in the paying of their dues, but must at least pay the room fee for the months in which they attend. If a member is unable to keep up with these small but needed expenses, they will be asked to refrain from attending until such time as they can get caught up financially.
