Stark's Diary 15:  Cool, man!

I listened to the group discuss Random's fate.  I was of a mind to have him walk the pattern.  Who knew when Gerard would return and who knew when Random's mind would finally snap.  After my initial snit fit, I realized that whoever he had been wasn't going to be the same when his mind was finally returned.   He wasn't going to be Greyson, he wasn't going to be Bob, he was going to be someone else entirely.    What did that leave me with, a semi-incestuous king of Amber on one hand, and totally pompous winged warlord on the other.  Cecily's brother Harry was starting to look mighty attractive in terms of simplicity. 

I'd been in a bad mood for quite some time I realize.  I think Cecily is about ready to strangle me.  Illie was going to be of great help with that path.  I should probably try sleeping more lightly.  Heh, I find trying to understand him, as confusing as he probably found it to try finding me.   

The ticket for clearing a lot of things up in my life, presented itself as a glowing, hair raising keening maze of blue fire.  Supposedly it would bring Random's memory back.  Problem #1 solved, Amber, poor city definitely needed a real king.  I suspect Random would be very good at taking numbers and kicking enemy butt.  Problem #2, I think if I don't every see Drago again, I will be haunted by this beautiful necklace on a chain.  What he did was awful, but I just don't think things were meant to go on without seeing him somehow.  This pattern thing is supposed to be able to let you walk between shadows.  I could go back and clear things up.  Try to get the marriage annulled or whatever.  Or maybe even get to know Dragos better.  And Problem #3, who really is my Dad, and how and why was I dragged into all of this.  I get to the middle, ask it to take me to my biological father if he is still alive, and poof, there I'll be.   This logic seems pretty simple and clear, on this cactus stuff that Fletcher gave me.  It's giving me quite a trip.  I see his body, flaming into so many different shapes.  Very very cool.
