This page is dedicated to all of the NPCs that are running around somewhere in my campaign. For me, a "nonplayer character" does not just refer to an individual. It can also refer to an organization or even something as "simple" as a monster. This page will probably be seeing the majority of the new additions to my site; I've got a lot of NPC ideas floating around in my mind that I want to set down in electrons.

List of "Offical" NPCs My first effort in creating detailed NPCs was to see what I had to work with. I went through all of the source material I had at the time, and compiled this list of every single character name that was mentioned anywhere in that material. The list is complete only up to and including The Factol's Manifesto - but it doesn't have names from the two Monstrous Compendiums. Be warned, there is 150K of information at least check. (I did split it into multiple files for quicker loading times.) |

List of "Other" NPCs This page contains paragraph summaries of the NPCs I've created. Any NPC that doesn't fit in with any of the other articles on this page can be found here. The document may shrink as I create other things for this section. |

Red Shroud Red is a succubus and ruler of the Abyssal gate-town of Broken Reach. She is introduced in Planes of Chaos, but I have added a bit of information on how she thinks, her goals, and the like. I include her here mainly because she has become a major influence an (and source of frustration for) one member of my party. |

The Bariaur Society This is an article similiar to the DRAGON magazine feature, "The Ecology of...". It was written (not by me) in the early days of the Planesape Mailing List and talks about the social structure and customs of the Bariaur race. The physical description of my NPC "Tavis the Reaver" takes suggestions found in this work. |

Faces of Entropy: The Doomguard Netbook This used to be a webpage entitled "Doomguard I Have Known". However, as the result of a direct challenge to my creativity, I took this information and generally revised, changed, and expanded upon it to create this 62-page monster. Currently, this is only version 1.0 of the document; I expect to have more to add to it as I and the community at large get more familiar with 3E D&D. |
Original Sins Cartel This is a business organization composed of ten very powerful succubi. The idea grew out of my changes to the Well of Worlds adventure, "Love Letter". The succubus from that adventure (Chiryn), along with the ruler of Broken Reach (Red Shroud), and one other are the co-founders. |

Y'Lien (Astral Predator) This monster is a joint creation between myself and one of my players. Even a mere glance will show that these creatures are really nothing more than an AD&D translation of the Alien from the movies of the same title. However, I have added a bit of background to them that make them worth more (I think) than any of the other versions available on the 'Net. Let's put it this way... what do you think the Githyanki do when they're not out hunting Mind Flayers? |
Mind Kestrel This creature is a hold-over from my previous campaign which used the SpellJammer setting. Looking at it now, I'm not sure whether it really fits in with the Planescape setting or not. However, it should be worth something to somebody, so here it sits until I can find a more appropriate place to put it. |

The MagmaDrow This is the original game mechanics that the player of Valas put together when creating the character. In addition to the raw mechanics of the race and the class of the character, it also provides some background and insight into the race and culture as well. |
The "Gifted" These are the mechanics that I was more or less using for the determination of Rogan's powers for being an embodied Card of the Tarot Deck of Many Things. Towards the end, I was just sort of faking it, but here's where I started. |
The Oathbound This is the description of a sect that was jointly created by myself and one of my players. (Actually, the idea is completely his, I just did the formal write-up.) The members of this sect, usually called Featherheads, are the erswhile followers of the character of Killraven. |
