Harmonium File: Fivers
Fated Contract No.: 62inc
Author: - - - - - Johnny Fresh (alias)
[the rest of the six page form is crossed out]
As per our contract, this is my report providing information I have been able to obtain under my alias as Johnny Fresh.
[Note 1: The ridiculous form you provided to me for reports is completely unusable. Not only would it require unecessary disclosures regarding myself, the areas alloted for perfunctory information is too large -- and the space provided for detailed information is too small. As the form was not attached to the contract, I am not obligated to, and choose to not -- use it.]
I first procured a position with the Sensate-columnist Brucey B, although it took more than the allocated 24 Cage (invoice enclosed). The extra expense is due to the excessive amount of trendy attire required to convince the pinhead that I had enough "style" to take a job as advance man. Even so, I was not at first able to comfortably fit in with his bizzare entourage. Fortunately, I was able to secure his confidence by utilizing the archive information on the tiefling -- leading to B's *discovery* of the fashion of wearing tails in the Market Ward.
[Note 2: I had to purchase one of these prosthetics (invoice attached) in order to preserve my cover]
After that, my cover has worked out remarkably well, and I have developed a wealth of information on the tiefling known as "Lilah", which I provide below in the context of this report. Also provided is information obtained on her close associate -- a gladiator known as "Killraven" (see 11234-76qtp, Addendum). The latter information is provided pursuant to the first addendum to our contract, as negotiated between you and my associates.
1. Physical Description -- Lilah
The tiefling consists of more (much more) than a mere tail. Attached is an artist's rendition (invoice attached) taken from the mind of a friend of the tiefling's -- Marynn de Caynen. She was more than willing to discuss her association with Johnny Fresh, but it took a little more persuasion (and the use of psi powers) to draw forth a complete description. (Invoice attached).
As you can see, she is quite fetching for a tiefling. The only characteristics reflecting her fiendish blood are as follows: the infamous barbed tail, very small horns located at her hairline, and an eerie effect with her eyes reflecting the Abyssal fires of her heritage. Looking into them caused me some slight discomfort. I suggest avoiding her gaze if possible.
She stands a little over five feet in height. Her body is rather petite, but has ample curves. She is very lithe and strong. Reliable anecdotes suggest she has acrobatic skills which she employs to engage or disengage in combat.
Her flame red hair is long and full. She tends to wear it loose day to day, but I have heard she sometimes secures it, wears it "up", or even dons a wig.
Her skin is ivory-toned, and, from what I can see (which has been a lot of it), there are no obvious blemishes. I am unaware of any tatoos, although I was not able to engage in a full-body inspection. (That would be extra -- and don't bother with an addendum, for I deem it too dangerous). She displays a fondness for jewelry and has many earrings, rings, necklaces, and a bracelet that she wears.
She most often can be found wearing a black tight-fitting bodysuit, a short leather jacket, and a charcoal black cloak. This is what I observed upon meeting her. According to my contacts, however, she does have a varied wardrobe that she uses for occasions, such as visiting the FestHall, the Annex, or on missions. I understand that her taste in clothing tends to run toward the revealing -- but I have no way of knowing if she takes precautions and dresses more modestly when discretion requires. I suspect so.
She carries no large weapons, but her daggers are numerous and designed to be thrown. I witnessed her proficiency first hand. She is good. Very good. (Invoice for healing potion attached). She also employs a toxin, at least sometimes. (Invoice for anti-toxin attached). She also has a pair of gloves which appear to have metal pieces in the fingers, possibly to aid in climbing.
Overall, she looks like what she is -- a dangerously attractive woman. (Attractive, that is, if one doesn't mind tainted tiefling blood). Her appearance is striking enough that she should be easy to find -- the fact that she has not been easy to find demonstrates that she is at least as cunning as she is attractive.
2. Personal Habits and Associations -- Lilah
Within the Cage, the subject's personal comings and goings are highly erratic. The only places she has been known to frequent with any consistency are the FestHall, a few streets in the Hive, and the Bottle and Jug. She used to be a regular patron of the Black Sails until that establishment was trashed by her and her associates a few months ago. She is also on the leader board at the Annex, but she has been there only once in the last year or so, and is unlikely to return soon given the, um, *incident* that occurred there. (We have detailed files on that incident, available by separate agreement).
Although she does not frequent such places publicly, she has otherwise been identified at many other locations, from the Morgue to the Hall of Records. I have yet to determine with specificity the reason for her various appearances, but I deduce many of them are connected with her association with the planewalkers known locally as the Fivers.
Her personal characteristics are somewhat erratic also. When I conversed with her, she was charming, slightly seductive, but played the ingenue. She was careful with what she said, laughed frequently, and tried a few ploys to pry me for information. I also have it on good information that she can be petty, viscious, and highly dangerous when angered. I believe you and some of your minions may have experienced something like that?
She is observant, quite clever and a fast thinker. She is not, however, much of a strategist. Her wiles are more of the cunning sort -- but I do not put her beyond hatching a scheme or two -- even if I doubt her ability to do that successfully.
Despite her intellectual acumen (which I rate overall as very high), she seems unfocused at times. Even trivial. I do not know if this is an act or a personality quirk. I observed it personally, however, so I am reporting it as per our contract.
She has few friends and many acquaintances.
Of course she is one of the Fivers. While I suspect you know something about that group already, the additional information I have about that group is outside of the scope of work authorized by this contract. If you want it, please contact my associate for a further addendum to our agreement.
She is particularly attached to one of the Fivers -- Killraven (see 11234-76qtp, Addendum). They are lovers (although I doubt he is the only one -- I know of at least two other suitors that she has in the past entertained) but in addition, my observation is that there is some real emotional involvement here. This could possibly be exploited. With respect to the depth of her attachment to other Fivers, well, again that is a matter to be discussed only after the next amendment of my contract.
She knows several prominent Sensates. She is also friendly with the afore-mentioned Marynn. She has been seen conversing with a blind merchant woman and her minder on several ocassions, and was seen also with that woman inside the FestHall and at an apparently unsuccessful assasination attempt. I am currently pursuing the identity of this woman, but she is not widely known by name and apparently travels extensively.
3. Abilities -- Lilah
She did not demonstrate this to me, but reliable informants establish conclusively that this tiefling can sling spells. She does not openly use them, suggesting either weakness or strength. I cannot report on which types of magic she uses. At least one path, however, must include the "jump" spell.
I also believe she can become invisible.
Her combat skills would, I think, be classified as "Light" or "shock" value. She prefers remote attack, especially with theknives. She also has the reported ability to explode into flames in dire situations. Fortunately, I did not have the privilege of witnessing this.
Her secretive comings and goings, and rumors of her involvement with various thefts, mysterious disappearances, prison breakouts, break ins and the like fairly clearly place her in the category of knight of the post. Again, this was not demonstrated to me personally (I counted my jink) -- but my sources tell me she is very good at this. So good that she has not yet established a formal record, although as we know, she is a suspect for a few crimes.
I am informed that she has run missions for various groups -- alone, with her lover, or with the Fivers. Her employers are highly regarded within their fields. In short, they must know what they are doing -- and so must she.
4. Assessment -- Lilah
If you can get her alone, she can be gotten. Standard magical protections should be utilized, and precautions taken with respect to her mage abilities. But as we both know, spell-casting can be neutralized. She will fight hard, but she is not an extreme phsyical threat (bring anti-toxin). I recommend protection from fire for the end game.
The problem is getting her alone. I suspect you will find her hard to outfox. I have some ideas, but of course, that is another matter for another contract.
This completes my report. I trust it finds you in better health than I. The tiefling smelled me out at the Bottle and Jug and nearly wrote me into the deadbook. Fortunately, I was able to use my bracelet to effect an escape. The cost for recharge of this item is 20 ladies (invoice attached).
I am placing this with one of my associates for delivery.
I will write off the recharge of the bracelet if you kill the gladitor (see 11234-76qtp, Addendum) immediately upon reading these words. If needed to please your sensibilities, the victim owes me a lot of money on an old contract. (I do hope you are listening, Mover 4.)
