Month 8, Day 12 - Meet'in tonight at Shattered Temple. Learned about some friendly folks but thankfully I didn't get my ass kicked. ***(Illegible Writing)*** did just fine... Hmmm... after a statement like that I should add in an evil laugh like that nasty creature from Beyator we ran across.
Month 8, Day 13 - Given the job of look'in into a Signer and deal'in with him - maybe her. Met two other groups of folks though let the conversation lag. Everyth'in is not quite what it seems - maybe *chuckle* Surreal.
Month 8, Day 14 - Left for Limbo. On route we were followed by several brown robbed guys. Killraven smoked one with a trident and captured another. He did some threaten'in and I doubt we'll be followed anymore - most likely we'll be mugged!
Limbo. Yeah. Sure. Mental Reminder - don't go there again... either! Its very strange. Couch's float by in the air, trees made of butter, walk'in daisies, float'in castles... we entered inside by a big fish. Its a place where thought rules. The air though, is like a damp sponge. Its tough to breathe but thankfully, airpockets can be formed by just think'in about it. We were there for a brief time before Valas announced he had some chest filled with someth'in we weren't suppose to think about. So without even ponder'in the event, he set us up on a 24 our long freefall until we reached the portal home.
The first hour or so, I screamed a bit - more as a reflex. After that, it was more a chance to catch up on sleep and do noth'in but twiddle my thumbs. Nice change of pace. It was the fastest we could travel and offered the most comfort.
Note: Cha-kan is act'in funny. Him and Rogan stayed outside the reality that Lilah and Valas had held up. Wonder what's go'in on.
Month 8, Day 15 - Arrived back from Limbo. Cha-kan is definitely out of it. He left us in Tradegate to visit someone just a few hours ago. The rest of us have gone to the Black Sails and are await'in our next move. Rumor has it, 4 days before Cha-kan comes back and we make our next trip out.
Month 8, Day 16 - Escorted Killraven over to a Whorehouse... On route back, met a dust creature that snivelled and whined such we had to talk to him. He wanted us to sign a contract to get some stone. I'm nervous about it but Killraven is all for it. Killraven demanded double price and I suggested a few changes in the document. Gauntw'in the Pale, Keeper of Blackest Secrets, Mephet of Night. His master is in Beyator. The contract though, will pay out 200 cage each as well as one magic sword. Double if we get what we asked for. I want to wait for the Captain.
Month 8, Day 17 - Minor day. Did some track'in on the signer. I want to find out a bit more before I make any kind of move. He's at the Hall of Speakers. He is also definitely a he. An elderly elf and presides over the auditorium where a harmonium bill was be'in discussed. Visible figurehead.
The hall itself is unusual and about as crowded as the City Courts. Massive number of people, all factions runn'in on endless tasks. It is a public forum place and folks are engaged in debates. There is even a huge auditorium where there is a discussion go'in on about some law the Harmonium want to introduce - 'em try'in to restrict the spread of information. Mental Reminder: Check into law as well as who is push'in law.
I've seen the leader of the factal talk'in to some school children and teach'in 'em in the ways of a signer. Just listen'in to her I think she's quite arrogant and self centered though she isn't too outspoken.
The figurehead left after in the even'in when the auditorium closed down. I've marked the time and I'll be wait'in in a few days near the backdoor to see where he goes and talk to him.
Month 8, Day 18 - Left for the stone with Gauntw'in. The captain said it sounded fair and Killraven ripped the paper away from him and signed it. Lilah did as well so we were all inclined to put our names on it.
Shortly after that, we found ourselves in a place called the 10th pit. We went into the Keg room, opened up the 4th barrel on the left and dropped a bunch of light colored red sand inside. Portal opened (I'm start'in to get used to this) and we were zapped there very quickly.
The sky was bloated, blood red and hot. It pounded down dully on the red mist'in sand dunes around us. In the distance, I could see forests of dead look'in trees as well as the typical signs of decay. Typical. Sheesh. This is not normal. Just when are we go'in to get on another boat???
I thought it looked like the Abyss but the Captain was sure it was Beyator. Him and Lilah started talk'in bloodworms again though... I got sick - those fester'in rot grubs can't ever talk good stuff. Well, soon the Captain hammered his way through that spirit deck and got all fired up n' pissed at Gauntw'in as we were in the Abyss.
(Later) - Walked about 6 miles and are on a road in front of a big tower. Tackled eight eyew'ins and discussed th'ins with a bunch of talk'in skulls stuck on pikes. Been here six hours and that's six hours too long. Maybe six and a half count'in time in the 10th Pit. The tower is tall, maybe 15 fathoms from peak to base. Its white colored stone, however, the gracefully soar'in architecture is covered with hundreds of jagged black blades which disbelieve the angelic illusion. We can see lots of bodies impaled on the blades - some of 'em even fresh. Our Seeker Stone pointer is aimed at the tower and the stone we seek is definitely inside. We have to go in there? - Y.U.C.K.
