Lived in NY city for a time, later settling in Dutchess Co. on land conveyed by his father Sept 6, 1698.
In 1715 he and wife Marietie exchanged this with land owned by Col. Henry Beekman Jr. for land in Ulster Co, in the corporation of Kingston, on the south side of Rondout Creek. A Historic Marker of the Mill used during the revolution stands on this site in 1957.3 |
